To address such issues, Godavari College of Nursing, Jalgaon, has constituted the Equal Opportunity Cell (EOC).

The committee shall meet at least twice a year to review activities and address concerns.

Creating equal opportunities and awareness among students through discussions and inclusive activities.

  10. Organize awareness activities.

Minority Cell

The Minority Cell at Godavari College of Nursing, Jalgaon, was established to empower minority communities. It supports students from various religious minorities and ensures an inclusive educational environment for all.

Aim

To empower minority students and ensure their active participation in all spheres of college life on an equal basis.

Objectives

  1. Ensure equal education opportunities for minority students.
  2. Assist with financial aid through government sources.
  3. Act as a Grievance Redressal Cell for minority concerns.
  4. Share Government of India educational policies for minorities.
  5. Circulate relevant notifications from authorities.
  6. Protect rights and ensure opportunities for minority students.
  7. Offer a confidential platform for support.

Functions

  1. Maintain updated records of minority students annually.
  2. Address concerns related to minority communities.
  3. Implement government reservation policies.
  4. Forward complaints to appropriate authorities.
  5. Nominate student representatives for the committee.
  6. Act as a grievance redressal platform for minority issues.

Role of Student Members

  1. Actively attend meetings to learn about available support.
  2. Participate in interactive sessions to manage challenges.

Resolutions

  1. Meetings to be held every six months to address issues.
  2. A complaint register will be maintained and monitored.
